Keyboard Navigation

Navigating inside a journal with the keyboard primarily requires only a few keys, but they’re used constantly. The following keys are most fundamental to navigating inside a journal.

  • TAB
  • SHIFT + TAB
  • SPACE
  • ENTER
  • The left, right, up, and down arrow keys.

Use the TAB key to enter navigation mode. Then when a tile is focused, move the focus by using the arrow keys (lef, right, up or down). To activate a tile - use either the SPACE or ENTER key.

Access keys

Access keys are a great way of navigating the Client application. They can be used with keyboard only and is an easy way of navigating. Access keys are sequential - that means that you don't have to hold another button pressed while clicking the access key. Reveal the access keys by entering the ALT-key. Then you will see which accesskeys that are at your disposal.
